We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant for our Rochelle Park office in New Jersey.
This position will have to be detail oriented, be able to work with a wide variety of people, have experience working with electronic health records, and the ability to communicate both in writing and verbally.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:
00am-5:
00pm ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS (include the following but are not limited to):
Conduct regular and systematic review of the initial assessments, progress notes, treatment plans and treatment plan reviews, care coordination services, and primary care integration services to ensure documentation is timely and has expected quality.
Conduct utilization review to improve quality of care / program.
Develop reports of findings and recommendations and communicate to supervisory staff.
Track, monitor, and measure the annual quality performance of the program and develop recommendations based on annual changes.
Identify staff training needs through auditing activities.
Support clinical directors and supervisors to create systems and processes that facilitate achievement of quality assurance goals and continuous quality improvement.
Adhere to cultural competency and anti-discriminatory practice.
Input individualized goals for consumers in electronic system according to the ISP.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Valid Driver's License Understanding of Medicaid regulations High level of attention to detail Ability to write and understand progress notes Effective interpersonal skills and ability to successfully use authority to work with staff throughout the agency Associates Degree or college credit One year's experience supporting individuals with Developmental Disabilities or related field and credits toward college degree preferred.
Experience with Foothold technology program or Electronic Health Records.
